I just signed up, but I have a suggestion.

I think the 4" club decal should have a standard display location, like the rear window, maybe center top.

Not to put anyone on the spot, but just a thought to unify members, I don't think that is too much to ask.

Any thoughts?

changed the title to reflect what was being discussed here

I'm partial to driver side lower corner. Provides the least obstruction to an already small rear window. :p

Some of us have graphics on our rear window and do not wish to stack decals. I have a full U.S. Flag on mine (see sig). So some of us will use an alternate position (mine is on lower left corner of rear door, drivers side. Its either there or on the cladding on the tailgate.

O/K, if the idea in general is acceptable, then we should have a poll to determine the location and then all I would hope would just accept that and participate.

Wouldn't higher up on the rear window be more visible from the rear, given that the av has a large "back yard" if ya know what I mean? ?;)

I'm with the Chief...besides mine is already there. Only thing above it is the American flag. :B:

I say place it where you want.
There are many of us with them on already, as was said before and I'm pretty partial to where mine is. Midgate window low on drivers side corner.

My $.02

I also have a rear window decal and do not want to layer on top of it. I opted to get the decal hitch cover and that's where my CAFCNA decal is.

Left side behind driver is where mine got stuck so it would not obscure my vision out of the already small back glass,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,my vote in before the poll is started.
zeeya >:D

I originally had mine on the lower right-hand corner of the cladding just below the tailgate, but the pressure washer lifted it off. I dried it and re-stuck it to the top-right corner of the tailgate. My other decal is on the front lower corner of the windscreen.

? Front
? Rear

Mine is high up and dead center rear window. Even with the AV being lifted people still cannot miss it! ;D

I don't have any room on the rear window. The middle is taken by a large bowtie outline in gray. The lower left is my I.A.F.F. sticker, and the right in our departments 9/11 tribute. I'll have to work on this one.

Ya know, the cool thing about putting the decal on the rear window is the fact that you can read it in the rearview mirror while driving  (or while sitting at a stoplight) :0:

I Agree with the Chief, or if there are other graphics on the window, lower left of the tailgate.

Center top kind of puts it right in the middle of the rear view mirror.

I personally have never seen anyone's decals where ours is in the upper driver side portionm of the back window-

See attached - notice all the ice on the Av ?:)

Also, back to the supporting member subject, how much would we save on the National meet if we signed up for sponsorship ????

Just as long as the decal is a CAFNA decal, it doesn't matter where it goes. It's highly recognizable to those of us who are members no matter where it is. Just my .02 worth. When mine comes in, it's going on the rear window, lower left corner. To each his/her own.

I put mine on the upper left corner of the tailgate because it wasn't as visible on the rear glass with te sail panels blocking the view from the side.

Wonder how much would it cost to mold a kind of "badge" that could be screwed (or glued with silicone RTV) onto the sail panel or something instead of a sticker? Although more costly, a kind of badge or something seems more classy than a sticker

I just had my rear window replaced and lost all my dirtbike and CAFCNA stickers. :(

I have the decal in the standard "GOO" position (lower driver rear) but also a second decal in the "Opposite-GOO" position which is on the windshield in the lower passenger side corner.

You can see them coming or going ;D

Sounds good to me, I'd buy one. Maybe we could even figure out a way to backlight them.

Joined in November, and signed up today for "Supporting Membership". As far is the decal goes, I think as long as it is visable from the left side of the AV, it would be seen the most. How about a "Beep" if we see a fellow member on the road.

Ditto, most of the Texas members I've seen have ours in the "GOO" postion.

I believe a long time ago it was discussed - kinda like amber drls are a club sign - the decal position for most (not all) ;) was determined to be left lower rear window (behind driver) or as most of us in Texas call it the Goo Position. Thats where mine is ! ;D
