Thought this might interest some of you modders.....

Looks like it was a fun project.

Ummmmm SWEET nice old truck there is one that looks like that around here but it is black and in need of restoration I know the kid who has it he is going to restore it and put a 350 in it.....it is going to fly ;D

Yup, thats the one that Chevy built to showcase the inline 5 engine. I wonder if I can get them to build another front rollpan for my '48.... :0:

Looks pretty sweet. I can see where the styling
for the SSR came from. The only thing I don't like
is the back. I don't think the vortec logo or
vette lights fit the bodylines of the truck.

Aetatis.

I would love to restore another vehicle

69 Charger
57 Chev PU
70 ElDorado
76 Trans Am

I don't have a place to work on them... :6:
It's time to build a shop I guess

Always wanted to build a Willys

I wish I had the time, money, and shop to rebuild an old Chevy PU or Chevy Car I think it would be fun but right now all my $$$ is tied up in my AV

Agreed... its a good thing my '48 is still down in Santa Rosa. 1200 miles is a decent barrier. I'm broke, and don't need any excuse to be more so ;D

You guys seen American Hotrod at all
on the Discovery Channel?

I can't believe the amount of work that
goes into one of those restorations!

I mean I've read alot about it but
to see the amount of man hours.
Whew.

After I see shows like that I want to go
out and get a pinstriper to go crazy on my
AV!

Same have a 23 Ford T-Bucket now and also a 79 Malibu drag car. I always wanted a Willeys to build up as an old school A/Gas Altered. You know.. strait axle front end, big ol' Hemi with a 14-71 on it. Headers strait out the wheel well. No tubs just old school 10.5" cheater slicks from M/T. Ok have to stop now drool is shorting out the key board >:D
