Synthetic Oils - Mileage Between Changes?

I still use Dino oil at this time but, no matter what kind I use,it will be changed every 3-4000 miles no matter what. This averages once a month for me

Hi all

The latest tests on syn oil suggests that we are waisting oil at a rampant rate!!

The Mobil and Amsoil tests done recently are going 12000--18000 miles before the oil additives are depleted----Yes the filter won't go that far!!!

Replacing the filter at 10000 miles or less seems to work
