I got my new wheels Monday, I wanted 285s but they were too tight so I went with 265/75/16s. Tire store guy said "A-Team in the 21st century"

I wonder how my LPM would look with them, since I have an 03 with the darker cladding they may match almost perfectly... Hmmm...

I was looking at 20"- 22" black wheels for my 02 Z66. I like the look of these black/teflon wheels with the cladding. The darker cladding will look even better.

What's the cost on those, may I ask? Been looking around for something similar.

I saw them online for $200 to $225 + shipping I think. I paid over $800 but went thru a local store and bought tires too.

Hey, those wheels look great! Definitely a heavy duty look.

FYI- MY Av is supposed to come in tomorrow, and I have my Goodyear MT/R's (285/70R17) patiently sitting in my garage waiting. I guess the advantage of the WBH is I don't have to trim any cladding to fit these.

Anyway, thanks again for helping me score the deal I did. I'll shoot you some pics when I get it done.

Brian

www.wheelsforless.com has the Mojave and the Victors for $199.00 w/Valve stems, center caps and lugnuts!  If you go to a Discount Tire they will match that price or beat it...

I like the Victor Teflons, I will have to take a trip to my buddys shop and see them in person...

Those are different, but I like it. Unquestionably urban assault ;)

I have always found these nice looking, but dont know anything about them other than they are Enkei. Anyone have experience with them?

Thanks Loggie, different was the reason I ordered my AV in April '01, I know some people still don't like the cladding and I'll get more of the same about my wheels. It's a truck, what's more appropriate than wash and wear wheels ? :p

Update: Not quite 12,000 on my AV with Firestone Wilderness AT 265/70/16, not much difference in ride or noise with new wheels and 265/75/16 Goodrich All Terrain but it does feel better. Maybe it's psychological

I did something stupid and got away with it. I helped install my new wheels and was going to put locking lugnuts on but put it off. I decided to trade up to Z71 and it hit me when I put the stocks back on yesterday. My lugwrench doesn't fit in the hole in the rim, I never put a narrow socket and breaker bar in my jack-kit. Good thing I didn't get a flat going to Niagara Falls :E: I'll have OnStar on the new one but I wouldn't want to call them for a flat unless changing it was dangerous. (or I just had my hair done) J/K :p

It will look good with your new fenders..... ;D

Don't forget you can paint to match the chop sticks too.... >:D

The pic is my Av with pics of the wheels to give me what they would look like on my AV before I purchased them. The Victors are actually pictures that were overlayed on my current wheels in the picture.

I really like that look! (y) The Av is just screaming to be decked out as a military vehicle. (y)
