Hey guys, I wanted to run some things by you all and see what you thought. I deffinetly want everyone's opinons so don't hold back.  :cool:

Would everyone be up for a monthly luncheon somewhere in Birmingham? If so what day of the week or weekend would be the best for everyone and who would be able to attend?

Also what about getting together at night once a month on hwy 280 at maybe Brewsters, DaryQueen, Sonic or something like that. These places are high traffic and are booming with people at nights. Would be a great place to hang out, get some ice cream and meet some new people possibly.

We could have a "GLOW" gtg before we start the night thing and help each other install some glow. That would turn some heads.  ;D

Anyway, thanks for everyones help and opinions and if you need anything at all don't hesitate to ask!

Hey it all sounds good to me.  I can do pretty much any day for lunch and any night except for Monday and Tue

You will do an excellent job, of that I am positive.  You plan it and I will be there, probably +3........
 
as long as we're looking for that cop guy....  if he can take care of any tint tickets I get while at an AL GTG, count me in.  Friday/saturday nights work best for me.
 
Was yall lookin for tha poe-leece?? Heck yeah, you know I'm all about it. As far as days, right now I'm off on Friday and Saturday. Our off days may be changing to Sat.-Sun., but nothing has happened yet. My hours are weird, like most cops, I forget what day it is sometimes. I work nights, so it would be difficult for me to make it to something during the week unless I take off, which I can do if I have enough notice. So, Fridays or Saturdays are good for me right now.

And B, I promise I will do my best to handle any unfortunate encounters with local law enforcement you might run into  >:D
 
This is a super idea.  I have seen other regions doing the same thing and love the idea.  This allows folks outside the area to attend if they want.

As for a day of the week or night.  IMO I would stay away from the weekends Friday?s are always good.

Thanks for the info Loggie. Looks like Friday's or Saturday's are going to work out for for the most people so far.

I will try to make some GTGs down your way as well!!  Busy with soccer/tball now, but if I am free I'd love to get down there a couple of times.
 
Thanks Bandit and Hop! Would love to have you guys down anytime. Also would like to have something up in Huntsville also so I can meet all the members up there. Feel free to let me know when something's going on up there and/or good GTG spots as I'm not familar with that area.

Thanks for the heads up.  I work on Saturdays and Sundays.  My off days are Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesdays.  I would be available for gtgs on those days.  If not, I guess I'm SOL! :B:

That stinks man! We'll see what we can do for a Ice cream night gtg on like wednesday or something in the future.
