I've searched the forum and mostly old posts come up regarding tents. It seems like (obviously) the OEM GM Tent would be the best but where to find? I see others are using Napier.
Just wondering what I can find now in 2021.

It's going to be real hard to find a oem tent, I sold mine to a member who had been looking for one a real long time.

The Napier sportz tent is as close as you are going to get.

I haven't set one up, but watching the video, I can't help but notice how cumbersome it is. 12 poles to set up a tiny tent and awning!
By contrast, our 6-person tent has 4 poles, and sets in a couple of minutes. If someone wants a very fast solution, the pop-up tents are it. Like this one, for example.
Then, you add a collapsible canopy for over the bed of the truck, also unfurled up in just a couple of minutes. Something like this one. https://www.acehardware.com/departm...YbhoLMvKFhR0AE4rsIRoC4wYQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

Man, I have not slept on the ground since I was a cub scout.

But another thing you have to think about is what are you going to do with all the stuff that was in the bed and the bed covers.

I should've been clearer. I was implying that it's possible to find a pop-up 2-person tent that would fit inside the Avalanche bed. These set up in just a minute. Of course, if one looks at this scenario from the convenience and safety point of view, then sleeping inside the Avalanche bed with the migate put away would be the easiest solution.
