Texas Cowgirl Headed To Ohio 5/26/03

This morning I had to say "bye for now" to a person that is very special to me. Our Texcwgrl, Melissa, is headed to Ohio. Her husband, Just_Jeepin' got orders to report to Ohio for duty on May 30. They are a big part of our ACA family and they will be missed dearly.

This morning I met Melissa to say a special goodbye to our dear friend Goo929. We met at the cemetary where we laid Pete to rest on January 4, 2003. We spent some special time there with Goo929 and Melissa's children, they have a special place in their hearts for "Mr. Pete". Matthew and Tyler left pictures of themselves on Goo929's gravesite, they miss Pete as we all do.

I have a few pics that I took outside of the cemetary that I would like to share with everyone as I said bye to my friend cowgirl.

Just got back from dinner and drinks with Melissa and David and the boys, Tyler and Matthew. We had a little Houston send off for our favorite cowgirl and Family. Bruno and his wife, Trisha along with Janet, Janets husband, Larissa, Amber, Cameron, Kaitlin and Rodrigo all had a nice send off from my house and food and drinks at Gaudelajara Mexican Restaurant. We will miss her, David, Tyler and Matthew greatly and look forward to their return. In the mean time take good care of our freinds in Ohio.

I am moving this topic to South Central cruise section.

:cry: :cry: I started missing you yesterday when you took the northbound lane of IH37 and I took the southbound lane :cry: :cry:

Have a safe trip to Ohio, drive safe! I am sure the Daves (02Z66 and Nascar) will give you a proper Texas send off to Ohio. Be sure to take pics! wish I could be there with you.

i know what you mean Mrs.Avz66 :cry: I miss cowgirl so much already. We are doing the drive in get together this Friday and she and her family will be missed :cry: by her AV family.


 
The ACA's Loss,( San Antonio) will be the state of Ohio's gain. We love you Melissa and David and the boys Matt and Tyler. We will be here when you come back to The Great State of Texas. You will always be an ACA member.

Thanks Rawtaw!!! We plan on trying to organize the Dayton/Cinci/Columbus area for some local GTGs and cruises. Hope you will want to join us.
 
Last night I met TXCWGRL and JJ and kids (and cats, and rabbit) for dinner in Longview, TX for their last meal on Texas soil for awhile:
