This is not for sure, but I may be going to Glamis (gordons well) thanksgiving weekend. A friend/coworker is going and if his wife does not want to go down there with him then me and him will go down there to play in the dunes on his sand rail.

Just wondering if anyone is planning on heading to Glamis thanksgiving weekend to maybe hook up with some fellow Avers while I am there. Should know shortly if I am going or not. (and yes I know what I am getting myself into going on a holiday weekend.... why do you think I want to go >:D )

Regards,

Grey

do you have a rail quads or bikes.... was told that the two camp grounds are not that far away, could drive around with us... apparently there will be 2 sand rails and 2 quads in our group heading down....

Still not 100% if I am going, but he does not think his wife will be going..... I do not have a quad/bike/rail, and with no toys, it is boring at the dunes..... then again, on this weekend, from what I hear all you need to bring is a digital camera or a camcorder... LOL

Grey,
I'm not going, but I want to go. Does that count? LOL. I sure do miss Glamis. Growing up in Phx, we used to go there for easter and thanksgiving all the time. Sure wish I was you. Hope ya have fun.

:D
Grey. take bandaids, gauze, splint material, vicadin, morphine, and a backboard. With those materials you can make some money at Glamis. What a zoo! Have you seen Dumont Dunes? Not as many people, but just as crazy.

MisterSinister! Is it finished? How does it look? Post a pic. I am thinking of going to Agua Calliente Hot Springs with some friends Thanksgiving. It is real close to Ocotillo Wells area. Where will you be camping? Did you name it "E Ticket", or "Hheeeellllllllllllllpppppppp!!!!"?

Rik,

Not done yet, builder says by the 15th of November, but can you imagine what 1700lbs. and 300hp with 20 inches of travel is going to be like? I was leaning toward the name "WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" What do ya think? LOL

I think you should strap your wife into the passenger seat, cruise nice and slow over to a really steep, high, and long hill, look over at her and smile. Just as she looks at you and begins to wonder if you are smiling at her because you love her sooooo much, PUNCH IT! HIT THE NITROS! PRESS YOUR FOOT THROUGH THE FLOORBOARD, and whatever sound she makes at that moment, that's the name. If she doesn't make any sound out of sheer panic and fear, describe her look on her face in one word, and there's the name.
It is probably going to be something religious, like, "oohhhh mmmyyyy GGGodddd" or "holy $#!t", or something to that effect.
I just know, I want a ride. Magic Mountain won't have a thing on you!
:cool:Rik.
