That's All Folks...

. . a 4-banger with a fart pipe

Now that is a classic and very funny line >:D

I bought my Z-28 in '99. It was before I knew they would discontinue the line. From what I read on the Camaro fan board, it will be back most likely in 2004, completely redesigned. That's what the GM insider over there says.

Fart pipe...that was classic.....oddly enough by the time they sink there money into all these mods...they could have bought themselves a domestic v-8 and spent less to go faster.....go figure.. :B:

I guess all good things must come to an end :6:

I sure hope that dosen't apply to everything. I sure hope the Av is still around when i'm old enough to get one.

You know, this is a really, really depressing thread.

Fart pipe . . . couldn't have said it better myself.

As a proud previous owner of a '68, '78, & '88 Camaro, I must say that I was disappointed with the '98 and didn't continue my buying pattern, but then I was pretty turned on to trucks

I can only hope they return, and not like the cookie cutter reintroduced Nova (remember how it looked like a Toyota?), or as previously stated, the Impala. I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm feeling like Rip Van Winkle here, all the muscle cars are gone :-[

Heck, maybe we'll see an El Camino come back to look like that new Subaru Baja thing with cladding? Sigh. Technology, progress, heck, that's what gives us the opportunity to be right here. Can't I just have the best of both worlds?

Had to chime in on this. Now I raise my glass and say farewell

You could say the El Camino is coming back (as a convertible even) - in the form of the SSR.

GBT,

I guess if you want a sports car from the General you will have to fork over the dough for the vett.

I had one of those 160 MPH trans ams. It scared me to death. Mine was the first year for the black boxes.

When I wreaked, the General sent two engineers to retrieve the data from the black box, in case I sued them.
The air bags failed to deploy and it ruined my day. Good by T/A.
