After being in a Ford nightmare for just over a year, my awesome wife got sick of my whining and went Avalanche shopping with me. I had been looking for a late model Black on Black LT or LTZ but after looking around we both really liked a '08 dark metallic blue LTZ and brought it home tonight.

Their are a lot of familiar names in this group since I left but even more new names. I'm looking forward to "getting to know" and reconnecting with everyone here. Hopefully someone will put together a GTG so I can meet or reconnect with everyone soon.

The mods list has started. #1 is exhaust, hopefully tomorrow. #2 will be to break into the Nav and get bluetooth and iPhone/Pod hooked up along with the subs from my last Av (assuming parts are available, next week sometime). After that, I don't really know. Their are buttons in that thing that I have absolutely no idea what they do so I guess I'll spend a bit of time figuring all that out. I have been trying to work out a way of getting an iPad in there but that's probably for another day.

He bought a ford, is there anything else he needs to say?  :B:

Yeah, that about sums it up. It was actually a Lincoln Mark LT, a nice looking truck but a total pig. I've never been in a truck that squeaked and rattled that much (who puts 7 piece plastic dashes in?). It rode like a park bench on casters and couldn't get out of its own way. I thought I was buying a Ford Escilade but I got a tow truck in a prom dress.

Live and learn
