I was hit by a semi a few days ago and the AV is hurting badly. Stupid AZ truckers! They think they own the road and they miss a monster avalanche next to them. WTH

Sorry to hear about the AV.

Well, you didn't mention anyone getting hurt so that's good.  (y)

I almost got crushed the same way back about 1970. Got run off onto the shoulder before the guy saw me. Nothing scarier than an 18 wheeler coming over at you.

How much Av damage is there? Make the guy/company pay for ALL of your upcoming incurred expenses !

Glad you are OK. I had the exact same thing happen to me about 2 months ago. I was in the right lane with a concrete jersey wall on my right so there was no shoulder. Luckily for me the guy swerved back over after he made contact with me. No major damage but it did end up being over $1800 to fix.

  Glad you're OK .
i had a bad accident about 7 months ago sitting at a light , old guy in a econoline
plowed into the rear of my Av , his van was wreaked , my AV had some rear end
damage  about $6500, boy was i glad i was in a truck .
i hope they can fix your truck , or get the insurance and buy another AV  (y)

Jeesh I hate the Phoenix freeways. It seems that half the drivers out there are either distracted or idiots.
Friends have lectured me  when I take the city streets instead of the US60 to go across town.
One time I was being tailgated by a woman in a minivan filled with KIDS, all the way from Ellsworth to Power Road. At Power I started to let off the gas just slightly and as the Av began to slow a bit she "eventually" changed lanes . . . . . . . about a mile later. Too bad there was no cop around to observe that MORON! She was really stubborn about getting out from behind me. :beating:

glad your OK  :D
Any pics of the damage? inquiring minds want to know?
Best of all is you are here to tell the story  (y) got to love the AV

Sorry to hear DESERTAV,

Most truckers are pretty good drivers, I've had many close calls, one recently. My quick reaction and his when he saw me beside him was funny. I was staring daggers at him, he gave me the deer-in-the-headlights look so I smiled and waved. Semi driver was relieved and nodded a thankyou...

If I hadn't moved he'd have hit me, if he hadn't seen me and aborted his lane change I was still screwed.

It is all the people moving there from California.

Seriously, good to know you're OK. I am surrounded most times by trucks and they're usually ok. However, you occasionally get the moron who goes faster than 55 (not allowed here in CA) or in the third lane. They're the ones you gotta watch out for.
