Anybody know where I can get some more of the small rubber bumper pieces that go inside the fuel door to keep metal from hitting metal? Or one of the small yellow tabs that come on the rear panel hatch covers?

Man they could have at least called me and let me get all the cladding off it. I need a set to sand and get ready to paint for my next painted cladding job. :7:
There is one in a salvage yard here also burnt to the ground, but they took wheels and all on this one. This was a true Theft (recovery).
 
What a sad day :cry:. I'm glad my Av is here at home. Whoever owned it was a modder, I see that the chrome grill bar had been painted to match the truck.

Being an owner of a Red Z71 that is surely a sad site. :cry:

Whoever did that is a big suck @$$. Having had two different trucks stolen I know the pain.

Please, someone do the decent thing and bury it.

That was actually on the floor. It had been ripped off and the took the Bow tie. I thought the same thing at first but then I noticed that it was on the floor buried under some leaves.

Of course, now I'm wishing Picture Trail was still down, after seeing them. Poor truck. :(
 
I was thinking the same thing. I'm gonna take a ride later to see if she's still there. I 'm sure the tires are gone by now.

I took a ride back to the site of the tragedy and I wish I had my camera with me. Well, guess what? The tires are gone and it was sitting on blocks! Damn, I knew I shold have done it right there and then. :8:

That is just wrong. As a Red AV owner that just breaks my heart.

Obvious insurance job. Who steals a $35,000 truck and takes only the front and rear lights? Who leaves those expensive tires on a truck?

I hope they catch the bastard who did this and remove his nuts with something blunt.
