Hi Everyone

I would like to send our appreciations out to the commitee and all of those involved (y) (y) (y)

As someone who has coordinated many, you guy's and gals did a great job (y) (y)

I would also like to thank, the spouses and children of the AV owners [please make sure you pass this thanks on to them]
The support from your families, is what makes these such great events.
I am always amased how these GTG's turn out to be so family friendly and think that AV owners must be in a class of our own >:D

Our group of from the New England chapter got some great pics and hope they post them in this thread for all to enjoy
BTW
If you noticed our table banner, the Falls GTG was listed as First Annual, so this means we HAVE to do it again
Maybe nextime a Regional Food cookout with foods from your territory

1200 miles round trip
5 passangers
200-300lbs of cargo
average MPH--80
16.9 MPG>> priceless

Was that taken from the observation platform, or from one of the elevators?

And come on, let's hear the story. ???

It was from the observation deck or the restaurant. We were snapping from both.

Ask Bonesaw about the haunted Avalanches that he walked up to. >:D

Great Pics Cape (y).. It was so much fun to meet you's all .. I will be heading down to enjoy some of your GTG's this summer for sure! You's got have this GTG thing down to a science and we up here have a long way to go to catch up to how organized you's all are..

Nats :)

About 20+ of us decided to have dinner at the top of the Skylon... Figured it would also be a good photo-op from the tower>>>
Talked to the hotel Mgr to get permission to place the Av's

Now the rest is right of a sitcom [Seinfeld, got nothin on us}
As we headed up the outer elevator for the trip up, with camera's ready, the ele operator/tourguide said>
" now if you all look out to the right, you can see the Falls"
We all at the same time said "whatever" as we all had our camera's pointed out the other side at the trucks
Comical, but here is the funny part

As we just finished our$40 {US} steaks>> and with the Av's coming in view
Someone decided if they could start the truck from the resturant out the window [help me out Ontarioans 500+feet]
Well low and behold it worked>>> it didn't take long before we were all standing at the window with our remotes in our hands, frantically pushing the buttons
[and again you have to remember the resturant was packed and the Falls was on the other side of the tower]
and here is the funnier part
As we headed out onto the observation deck, after taking quick looks around, we ended up back on the side of the AV's>>>
The only trucks that would not flash were the factory FOB's>> until JJsnowking realized, if he held the FOB up to his chin, and stuck his face into the mesh security fence, they would work >:D / this may have something to do with SCREECH-IN?/ [again remember there are people all over the place watching us with great confusion]

We found that as people walked on the path next to the Av's, we could freak them out by having all the trucks flash and beep at them
Now here is the hilarious part

All of a sudden, another LPM or SB AV pulls up and parks next to us in line>> he gets out of the truck and walks in front of all the trucks>>>> well you know we couldn't resist>> so on we played as he looked around to see if we were hiding in the bushes [Sorry Bonesaw next round's on me]

So as you can see, it was a good nite and even a better weekend>>>>

Unlike LasVegas, "what happens here"," is now international" (y)

Oh Yeah! That's right, there were waterfalls there. ;D
With all the excitement of meeting new folks, checking out the killer trucks and scaring Bonesaw, it was easy to forget why the Falls were picked for the GTG. (y)
It's weird, when I tell people @ work why we went up there, they say "what did you guys do stand around and talk about the trucks?"
Duh??? not all of the time, just most of the time. ;D I guess if you don't own an Av, you just don't understand. (y)
