Think of using lt1swap.com

Someone on here has been linking this page and saying to use him. But it seems no one on here has ever done so. Im trying to see whats the difference of using a tuner as mentioned above, or the Range AFM disabler as well. Plus, you are sending a piece of your truck to some random stranger with no guarantees you will get it back.

A LT motor is totally different from a LS motor.

Are you saying the lowest model LS doesnt have AFM?
NO

LT & LS are Engine model names sort of.

he does not mean the LS trim package

I believe loose afm plate bolts caused the problems most these having with lifter failures. The oil pressure is critical to deactivate and engage them.
Over half of my AFM plate bolts were finger loose when I decided to spend time removing the intake manifold.
I'm hoping my re/torque sealed it back enough to keep pressure operating them as supposed to.
I suggest everyone owns avalanche with AFM get those bolts checked. I watched YouTube video a mechanic who has seen those loose on almost every engine he has worked on with lifters stuck or failed.
I didn't believe until I found Over half my bolts finger loose, slow oil leak luckily I caught b4 big problems.
Also allowed me chance to clean gunk & old oil residue, clean meatal helps identify leaks & problems usually b4 they get bigger.
