I purchased a new third brake light, to replace the original on the truck, which is pretty badly messed up (not sure what the previous owner did to it).

It looks like I have to remove the cladding around the brake light to get in there, is this correct? If so, how do I go about doing that?

Thanks in advance,
Gator

I think so...

when I added my rear facing lights and XM antenna....I do think you have to remove the top sail panel cladding...which is pretty easy.....

Ya remove top bolts and pry it up as it is held in with sticky tape on top edge....then und bolts from bottom and yank her out of your way

goodluck

u do not have to remove the side sails just the top bolts that are a torxs head screaw and the two bottom bolts in each coner...once u do this lift up from undernither to pry the double face tape off from the top now there are 3 plugs u must undo one on each side of the light and the main plug in the body itself good luck with this one it might be berried in the body but with some deep breaths u can get it..good luck..

I posted pictures and info, but it's on TOS. :-X (posting pictures here is so hard now that I can attach 5 pictures and it will re-scale and all for me over at TOS)

Here is the link to the thread but I don't know if you need to log in there to view it or not.
