I bought my WBH Blck Z66 almost one year ago to date.. (sniff sniff.. 1 year old now.. ) ANYWays... I seemed to have one of the first WBH's in my neck of the woods...

NOW... I saw that one of my neighbors in my apartment complex bought a WBH (dark dark grey) base model and has begun modding it... This occurred 2 weeks ago...

THIS morning I walk out and another neighbor has a silvery looking WBH Z66 parked 2 spots down from mine.... GRRRRRRRRRRR.... I'm gonna have to step up the modding now to make sure I have the baddest one in the group... My AV has now become as common as a F@#$ or something.. I was so proud to have a fairly unique ride... :6:

Oh well... I got quite a headstart on the modding.

On a side note, I noticed my AV gets bumps and rattles in steering when making a right turn.. Anyone had this happen, know what it might be??? Not terribly pronounced, but doesn't do it straight or turning to left.

Sounds like somebody needs to add some style to the neighborhood by showing up with a cladded Avalanche. >:D

WBH and cladded are a dime a dozen here in west Texas...I kid you Not,,,at first I thought It was just me,,Noticing them because I have one, but whenever I am out I see them all over the place..The only thing that gets to me is that when I had a Volkswagen...Other volkswagen drivers would wave or smile..or at least acknowledge me...but with the ava..(around here at-least) it seems as if other ava owners dont recognize the fact that you share and have something in common with them.....the fact that both of you have chosen a GREAT truck to drive.... ;)

Maybe those Ham antennas I keep puttin'off do'in...

That's the way it is around here too. :cautious:

Ok, this may be a dumb question, but what is a GTG? I have scoured the site, but can't find the definition.

Vdubpig, I too see more and more AVs everyday. However in my area I have yet to see another North Face Edition. And if there is one, there is no way that they have a 6" lift and an SOR bumper. So I think that I am the most modded AV in the area.

I love the way you guys think... GTG at the community BBQ area... One of em already got Escalade handles and tailgate bezel.. I have yet to tag 'em. Do you guys have cards or anything? Or do yall improvise??

My Helo rims which are almost ordered (waiting for a paycheck) and my body lift I have planned.. and my roof rack should set mine apart.

Funny thing happened 2 days ago... Guy in an Expedition nearly hurt himself rubber necking at my Av, so I stopped short at a light and lowered the window.. he says, "Whats the difference between urs and the one with plastic?" My reply... "$600 and mine looks better." Guy said it was the first one he'd seen naked. >:D

ahhh... for a minute I thought you said you had cladding. I would have said.... for $600 I coulda woulda shoulda got cladding. ;D

You know... I HAVE both... The VR WBH is sweet but the Dark blue metallic truck with cladding is tough... By far my choice...

We were driving South on I5 the other night and I saw it coming... one big chunk -o -something. Couldn't do a thing... traffic on all sides and I was going to take a hit. It thumped off my cladding.. I turned to the missus and said, " I'm sure glad that we're in my truck. That would have left a HUGE dent in the side of anything else.... " She agreed... cladding came to our rescue again!
