Rockford make a 6.5 inch sub. which I'm putting in the rear doors. the doors have quite a bit of air space. My amp which is a soundstream contium,100x4+400x1. Is rather large, roughly 20" by 6" by 2.5". the only place I have found that it could go woud be in the bed storage areas on the sides, mounted to a piece of plywood or such.. these areas are vented, lockable and large enough. anyone else ever try installing anything in these compartments?? I'm also putting in a Nakamichi MB-100 in dash Changer. ADS front 3 way component set and a clarion tv with PS 2 soon.

Sounds like a cool plan. couple questions/comments:

-check your mount depth on the rear door speakers. maybe you have already check this out but there is a bracket that is used for the power window i believe near the speaker opening. I just mention this cuz its not as deep as it seems.

-not familliar with your amp. Does it have a built in fan? I would worry about heat. Also, have you thought about how your are going to run the power line? the distance you have to travel will require a serious gauge wire. finding a grounding spot might be tricky also.

-I love both Nakamichi and A/D/S products. Most excellent choice!

Post pictures when you are done and let me know if you have any questions. I am in the process of gutting my system (check my other posts).
