I just purchased a white 03 Av last week and LOVE IT. It is the very base model (finances you know), but even base is sweet. I registered on this site last night and have been amazed. Every question I can imagine has been answered here. The information about cleaning and maintenance is superb! Keep it up!

Kevare:

Congratulations on the purchase of your AV! I have a base model 02 Indigo Blue and I love it :love:. I have had her for 16 months now and have had nothing but fun with my AV, and the persons I have met through this club are friendships that will last a lifetime, not to mention the knowledge shared within the club on the AV!

Welcome to the club and enjoy your AV!

Too much information to absorb. :cautious: I'll try this, no I'll try that, wait--that looks interesting, etc. Have to keep in mind that a person can go broke wanting to do all these add-ons. But it looks like the top of my list would be the change out of the instrument cluster. I like the trany temp as I pull a show car and the temps can get pretty warm in this part of the country. As time goes by and more money is available, there are a host of Mods (conservative) I would like to do. And seeing how to do and what to do from this site gives one a sense of confidence that others have succeeded and can inform you of the best ways to get the job done. My hats off to all of you.

Thanks!

I agree on the previous post about members here being "kind"
Although I dont spend tons of time on the computer I have noticed a sort of snotty attitude in other places, not so here ! everyone is very cordial and helpful.
kind of like me ! LOL

RSKATER;

If you have a chance plan on attending a GTG in your area.

Great to see and sort out all of the mods the members are doing with their AV's.

Makes it a bit easier to choose and prioritize your own mods. ? :rolleyes:

I am the proud new owner of an Av - picked it up a week ago yesterday. I've been lusting for one for some time and so far the reality is even better than the dream.

I agree this site is great - very helpful to consumed types like me. I certainly appreciate the time and shared experience from the folks who developed and maintain it.

By the way, anal type that I am, I researched and shopped around extensively before buying my AV 350 miles from my home at Kevin Whitaker Chevrolet-Cadillac in Greenville, SC. They jumped through hoops to get me just the options and trim I wanted and let me have it for invoice less the rebate. They did not charge me to pick it up from the dealer where they found it and did not tag on any after the negotiation "oh, by the way" fees that dealers love so much (their processing fee was $59 - fair enough). Ask for Mark Becker, their internet sales manager. And no, I never knew of him or the dealeaship before I contacted them. They are straight shooters.

Thanks again to all who keep this site going. You definitely add to the Av experience.
