Sorry all. After MUCH deliberation and intraspective thinking I have decided that I will not be attending the Niagara GTG. I have my own personal reasons but for the most part it is just to much trouble for me to get up there. I am in the situation of not having my DL and I have tried repedatly to get a friend to drive my rig up, which BTW is almost finished!! Without the rig I would feel outta place... the next big thing is being an inconvience on another member to lug my a$$ up there. I know alot of you were wanting to meet me and all and in turn I was hoping to get to know alot of you for the first time. I wish you all the best of luck on what I hope turns out to be the biggest GTG of all time. So everyone be safe and enjoy.

Sorry to hear that you will not be attending. Yes a lot of people were looking forward to meeting you! But as you stated you have personal reason. This is unfortunate, but we all hope it turns out will in your favour.
Take care, and we will meet you at another GTG... Maybe as Grandpa suggested in 2nd Annual Niagara falls GTG!

Bone ... sorry to hear you can't make it... I can identify with not wanting to go without your Av!!!Whenever someone says lets go somewhere I am always the first to say "sure" and we can take the Av .. I just love to drive!!!!

You still have a few weeks and you never know what can hapen ... keep your head up bud .. You will be there is spirit for sure even if you can not make it .. :love: :love:

u must do this right now.. call uhaul and find out how much a trailer would cost to bring the av to niagara.. see i have this hitch that was going to have a bumperflag in it, but i think i can throw a trailer back there and we'll just throw the bumper flag on ur av!!

we can even pull into the hotel lot with u in ur av on the trailer to make it feel real... >:D

and a great idea as well...Bonedog you can even pay for part of the gas!!! I tell you what, if I were in your shoes and B.C. offered me an AV Tow so I could have my rig there...I would do it in a heartbeat...

edit: and there is nothing to be embaressed about...Heck you just told 9000+ members you don't have a DL...so what!!! get your AV behind an AV and your behind up to the GTG!!! (y) (y) (y) (y) :B: :B: :B: :B:

Thanks everyone. Especially Bikerchic for the offer :love: :love: :love: BTW the Uhaul would't be necessary I own an 18 foot race trailer ;D I do appreciate the love from you all but I just wouldn't feel right. Like I said in my inital post.. this comes with a heavy heart and after alot of intraspective thinking. I wish I could but I just can't. As of 3pm my reservations were also cancelled. I do appologize and wish you all the best of luck with this great GTG, hopefully I will make it to the 2nd annual Niagara event... that is what this should be called... an EVENT not gtg.

i feel your pain on that Driver License thing. i have a CDL that i can't afford to have taken away from me. thankfully i was able to straighten the situation out. the loser state (commonwealth; or maybe just plain common) threaten to take my license away because they said i had no insurance on my '02 AV, that i no longer have, in April of '02. that's when i bought it. i could not get it off the lot with no insurance. not to mention i talked to the insurance whiling i was handling financing at the dealership. luckily, i was able to get the required paperwork from past and present insurance companies to state my case. i was able to convince the gentleman i was dealing with that i had a handle on things, and the blurp in the system was due to no fault of my own. someone was looking out for me.
