I asked this a few years ago and was hoping I might get a better response now. I have an 04 and my spare was basically rusted on the bottom, but surprisingly lasted longer than brake lines do up here in the northeast.
I want to throw my spare up top out of the salt. I have some Thule load bars and a cargo basket but the Thule site says there are no feet that fit the roof.
Is there anyone who has mounted there Thule rack to a naked roof? If so do you know which fit kit to use?
