Well I've owned my AV for 1 week tonight. So I'm backing out of my parents drive way looking out my drivers side mirror to follow the winding driveway they have and bam. Didnt see a thing. My dad had pulled in behind me in his 03 Chevy Extreme. Well here is a pic of his and nothing to see on mine. I did get a little paint on the hitch but it wiped off, so I will be OK. Now to cover that $500 dollar deductible. Snakeeyes here I come.
Well anyways love the forums. Hope to talk in better circumstances next time.

Steve

Ouch! Man, I can feel your pain. Just be glad it was only a small fender-bender and nothing real serious. It looks from that pic like it shouldn't be that that tough to bang out and refinish almost as good as new.

Your parents probably aren't happy, but, in least the Av came out without a problem

:0: By the way, now's your chance to convice your father to trade in the beaten-up Extreme for a 2004 Av. Things just happen to work out for the best!

I just feel so bad for him and my pocket book.

I'm sure he would love to have an 04 AV if it wasnt for that $20k difference in price JG117. I just hope it turns out as good as new. I dont want him to sacrifice anything. That banged up piece is a pretty thick piece of steel. Luckily the grill was OK.

It did make me feel kinda good that there was zero damage to my AV. Now I dont have to prove myself to anyone.

Oh I'm taking donations if anyone has an extra $500. :7:
