If you live in Charlotte or Rock Hill or surrounding area there's a guy name of Roland who does excellent tint jobs you may be interested in. His home phone is 803-366-2972, cell is 803-487-7755.

He did my av front windows in limo black and they look awesome. Also had him do my rear glass which had factory tint already but wanted it a little darker.

Prices vary but as reference he did both front windows and rear glass on mine for $60 and I bought the tint at AutoZone. He will travel to you. Stands behind his work. My left front window peeled loose on one corner when i rolled it down the first time. He redid the job no questions asked.

Just thought someone out there might find this useful.

that's great to hear. i want to tint my AV and Accord windows. however, that is a little too far to travel.

How does the rear window look around the defroster thingies? My sister had hers done and it looks great; had mine done, looks like crap. You can SEE that my guy had to cut around the defroster thingie -- hers is just smooth. What does yours look like?

One question...... Where do you get it inspected? I live in Thomasville, NC and they check the tint when they inspect it, if you have the front windows titnted. It costs an extra $10 bucks. And they make sure it's no darker than 35%. If I had limo tint on mine they would freak out and have me remove it to pass inspection.

I live in South Carolina and there are no inspections here. If I get pulled over I could be made to remove it on the spot but I've never been pulled over for tint yet.

if you tint your windows take a picture of your truck before you get the windows done. if you all ready have the factory tint take a picture of that. Because if you go darker like .5 and get pulled over. when you go to court you can take a picture of your tinted windows and your not tinted windows. And say you got them removed and you have some kind of proof. Thats what i did on my old car.

Glad you told me about it last week.

It was also great to meet you last week at City Chevrolet.
They hooked me up and fixed my emergency brake at no charge.
Those guys at City are really great.
