Tinted mirror?

My driver side mirror has a bronze tint to it at all times and the passenger side never does.
As my truck is crazy optioned, Im wondering if there is some sort auto darkening tint like the rear view (which doesnt work worth a damn).
If so, how does it operate and how to fix?
If not, why the different color?

If you don't have an owner's manual you may want to see the Resources section of this website and look at the 2003 owner's manual there....

I think section 2-45 to 2-50 or so will help some?

https://www.chevyavalanchefanclub.com/assets/files/resources/model-years/owner-manuals/2003-chevy-avalanche-owners-manual.pdf

There is another thread that could help also and that is one about RPO code lists that are found in your glovebox and show exactly what your AV was built with possibly some other owner added options and modified from original issue?

When I had my fully optioned 2003, The electrochromatic tint was a light blue.

Probably was a self dimming mirror..

reason it is bronze now is fluid inside mirror leaked out and it leaves behind a bronze tint.

you need new mirror glass.

Check RPO codes in GLove box to be sure... and I do not know which code but in 2002-2006 section there is a RPO thread.

Thanks guys!
I got the build sheet from GM and it does list the following;
DL3 - OSRV MIRROR W/DRIVER SIDE AUTO DIMMING, PWR FOLD & ADJ, HEAT, TURN SIGNAL
Looking at the supplied link for the owners manual, it seems it adjusts using the rear-view mirror's sensor.
So looks like I have two problems - the mirror itself is bad, and the rear-view mirror adjustment is pretty terrible.
Maybe I should focus on inside mirror first...
