i just bought a 03 northface and im wondering what type of wheel, tire and suspension combinations have been tried and how they work for you. any advice appreciated.

Hi Wildcat. It's always nice to see another NFE owner join up! There are several threads dealing with lifts, lowers and the corresponding wheel tire combinations for them. There are also many posts about stock or close to stock size wheel and tire options. Try the "search" function located in the gray band, toward the top of the page. What sizes are you considering?

i would guess a 6" lift and the long debated question of 33 v. 35" tires. it seems that as in all things if its to little it aint right.

im hoping people might speak up with what they have and what work for them with minimal rubbing. Also is there anybody who had a six inch lift and wishes they had got the four or is it only the other way around?

The Rancho 4" is actually closer to 5 1/2" and the RCD and FabTech 6" are closer to 5 1/2" also. As I recall, everyone with 35" tires are getting some amount of rubbing.

Welcome to the forum!

Steel has already dispensed the good advice on where to look. A while back there was another good thread called "Aggressive Tires" too.

Got the 8 inch lift...Luv it..36 inch tires are rubbing a little but I think a few adjustments will fix that..
