NATIONAL CORVETTE MUSEUM GTG
The Plan:
Anyone in Middle Tennessee wanting to head up to Bowling Green in caravan should meet at the K-Mart parking lot located at exit 98 (Longhollow Pk) off I-65 (north of Vietnam Veterans Parkway) at 10:00 am. We will be leaving no later than 10:30.
Bowling Green is about 60 miles north of Nashville and the trip should take less than an hour.
We will travel to Bowling Green and have lunch at Smokey Bones BBQ, where they have more than BBQ. Click HERE to check out their menu.
If you prefer not to travel up in our caravan or are coming from other than Middle Tennessee, please meet us at Smokey Bones at around 11:30. Smokey Bones is located at exit 22 off I-65 (1.5 miles from the interstate).
After lunch we will head over to the National Corvette Musuem and tour the musuem. The admission price is $8 for adults and could be reduced to $6 should our group have 15 guests, kids 5 and younger are free, kids 6-16 are $4.50. You can visit the National Corvette Museum website at CorvetteMusuem.com. Unfortunately, plant tours are only available during the week.
Depending on interest and the time we are finished with the museum, we will have the option of visiting Lost River Cave! Lost River Cave's admission price is $11.50 for adults $10.50 for seniors, children 5 & under are $1.50 and kids 6- 12 are $6.50, I have coupons for $1 off. The cave tour includes a 20 minute walking tour and a 20-25 mintue boat tour though the cave. The last tour begins at 4:00.
