To All The Cars I've Loved Before...

Hi I have a problem....I have an uncontrollable urge to get a new vehicle every 6 mo's or so.

Until now.

I have had my AV since September 1, 2001. And I can honestly say that EVERYTIME I get into my AV I fall in love all over again.

I have never been able to say that for any other vehicle.

My list to date is as follows:

1. '87 Dodge Ram....my first love ( truck wise )
2. '84 Olds Delta 88 - Don't ask
3. '86 Pontiac Fiero - Still have this it is currently getting a Chevy Small Block
4. '95 Mustang GT Convt. - I loved that car
5. '97 Jeep Wrangler - Gotta love open air driving anywhere you want to go
6. '98 Dodge Ram SST - Nice little Truck....needs 4wheel drive and a supercharger
7. '00 Jeep Wrangler - Yes I know i had one just like it before ( same color too )

and last but not least the one the only
8. '02 Chevy Avalanche - By far a very good mixture of all my past vehicles.

So there in my first 8 years of driving are my 8 vehicles.

I hope that the aftermarket can keep up with what we all have in mind for our AV's, but I am damn glad that Chevy made this truck for me.

Until now, the 78 Camaro I still have is the NEWEST car I've ever owned! Finances and preference led me to drive old cars. No car payment and cheap parts were very appealing. As such, having a brand new Av is a bit overwhelming for me! Not only is it the coolest, most capable truck Chevy has ever come up with, but it's NEW.

The Av sure is an awesome truck, and the uniquesness of belonging to the Av community is part of the fun. I've even found myself waving to other Av drivers at times when I'm not driving my Av - probably makes for some confused folks!
