I'll rank this up with the key mod! Now everyone can see my truck is equipped with Computer Climate Control! (Discalimer: This mod limited to 2002 Avs only. Don't try unless you have a very steady hand. ;D) I know it's weird but those little empty letters bugged me.

Did you use a brush or a paint pen? - It looks very good - I will have to give this one a try. ;) Let me know what you used to do it. :D

I think it's too small to use either of them.

I noticed while I had my dash apart to install my new cluster that the module was held in with screws and could easily be removed and worked on with the letters facing up. So I used... (here it goes, you're gonna say this guy's crazy) a hypodermic needle. I have them 'cause my cat's diabetic and gets insulin twice a day. The paint pens and brushes are too big and will make a mess. The enamel paint is still thick and can glob easily. And let it dry before turning the piece upright.

OK, so who's going to be first to color-coordinate it with their Av? Spectron will find a way to make it glow in the dark (in five colors!) and Strobin' will find a way to make it flash! ;D

My AV is white and I'll be able to color-coordinate it . . . you used a hypodermic needle . . .now that is creative. I thought you were going to say a toothpick. . . which is what I'm going to use, unless it get's messy then I'll have go get a needle

It's gonna get messy... ?be careful.

(I hope this doesn't lead to a lot of ?:7: ? :8: ? and or ? :C: )

There's a higher-res pic at the link in my sig...

Just take a bottle of liquid paper, run the small brush over the "CLIMATE CONTROL CENTER" words, then wipe off the top excess with a rag or tissue paper. The white liquid paper ink will just find its way into all the letters and should take about 15 seconds to do....

...as far as making it reflective or glow in the dark---well there's a challenge!

Sorry I didn't get a chance to check this out today or your new cluster for that matter :(

Note to self set aside more time to climb in and around each other Avs next GTG. :B:

Until next time,

Joe
