Torsion Bar Lifts

Hi all,
Anyone done this on a Z-71? I'm tired of the "down hill" attitude of my Av. Want to level things out a bit.
Do you have to do an alignment afterwards?
Thanx,
Frank

Frank,
I did this on my Avy and am very happy with it's new stance. I gave each side 5 turns on the adjust bolts and it raised the front about 1.25"...doesn't sound like a lot but believe me it looks a lot better :D :D
It will "stiffen" the ride a little and I would equate it to adding 5 more lbs. of pressure to your tires.
The whole process took all of 15 minutes to do.

My suggestion: Crank em up and drive on it for a day to see if you are happy..if not return the bolts to the previous settings and be done. If you like the new stance and ride then have an alignment done :)

If I were inclined to put a couple of turns in to raise the front a bit, where do I look? Does someone have a picture of the specific bolts on the torsion bars? Having never done this, a visual would be very helpful.

Also, many have suggested an alignment following the change. If only height is being manipulated here, why would an alignment be in order? Are we somehow also affecting camber or toe in/out?

Thanks Gandolphxx. I haven't decided if I will do this yet. I guess for now, I'll just stay more "aerodynamic"!
