Anyone know the GM specs for the torsion bars on the Z71's [1500]. How much can you raise the front and stay within them? Is it done with the cv joint angles? How much can you go out of specs before problems with wear?

There are literally dozens of posts on this subject...go to the "search" box at the top of the page and type in "torsion bars" for starters...LOTS OF INFO on this site...enjoy the reading it helped me...but you should research before you decide what's best for you...
