DOES ANYONE HAVE THIS PROBLEM?
IF I PUT IT IN DRIVE OR REVERSE AND STEP RIGHT ON THE GAS THE TRANS SEEMS TO POP INTO GEAR, IF I WAIT ABOUT 3 SECONDS THEN IT DOES NOT POP...

Same here. Seems normal, although I will admit that the pause is longer than other vehicles. Gotta be patient during those 3 pointers.

Do You hold the brake down until the transmission is in gear or just do you put it in gear and immediately hit the gas? ???

I have the same problem and I even took it in to the dealer. They said it is normal. I am sure it is normal but it isn't right...

I tend to wait a bit after puting it into gear before stepping on gas. Call me cautious.

I have never had a pop and I do not think I want one either.

Same here, I've never heard anything like that coming from the tranny on my Av....I usually hesitate a second or two before giving her throttle after I shift.....

I'm sure there's a short delay because you are dealing with an electronic transmission rather than one that is strictly hydraulic. Plus when you step on the gas immediately, you won't be giving your AV a chance to take up any slack in the drive train. It's a lot better to start backing out slowly and then start giving it gas. Otherwise, eventually you're bound to do some damage to either the transmission or something in the drive train. Don't forget about gear lash. ;D
