Hello All,
I've been sort of lurking in the background on the whole lettering thing, at least until I had a chance to try to do it myself. Anyway, in the attached picture you'll see my first attempt at it. You see, I own the equipment to do this stuff and wanted to make my own to see just how difficult it would be to attach them to the raised lettering. The vinyl graphics has been a hobby/business I do when I have time from my regular job. I tried the attach all in one piece method, and the cut apart and apply individually method. I'd say the cut apart method is the easiest, especially if you use clear application tape to aid in alignment.
The first pic is of the black side lettering. I plan on making a couple of adjustments to aid in installation, but it came out pretty good.
The second pic is what I put on the rear to try. This vinyl is called "High Luster" and it takes on a neon quality under street lights at night. It's available in several colors. This color is Saphire Blue.
I'm testing them out to see how they stand up. The application of these on the raised lettering is a little different than normal.
I've got a few ideas in mind for lettering and assorted graphics and I'll keep you posted.
