Truck or station wagon PA plates????????

This is for those of you that have AVs and live in PA.

What kind of license plate do you have on your truck? Truck or Station wagon? I traded in my 02 AV for a 04 AV. My 02 had a truck plate. Today in the mail I got a new plate and registration card and it says station wagon. Which is right? I'm going to call the dealer tomorrow to find out what's up.

When i traded my 91 S10 Blazer on the Av the plates were transfered to the Avalanche and are for Station Wagon, have seen other Av's with truck lic. and a third #2 sticked over the inspection stickers for a class two truck i do not know why

My 02 had a #2 sticker also.

registration fee would be cheaper for a station wagon

I think it is up to the dealer. My 02 was registered as SW. I got the plate transferred to my 04.but it may be registered as truck. I didn't check.

My 02 was Truck and my 03 is also Truck. My 02 came from Lehigh County and my 03 from Berks. I seem to get better deals out there.

I have an 02 AV, and the dealer gave me TRUCK tags when I purchased it.

Since my truck is black, I sent away for the black "DARE" tags, which look much better.

But I too have the weight "2" classification sticker on my windshield, and my AV is classified on my registration card as a weight class "2" TRUCK.

The TRUCK class "2" costs much more to register every year than a SW would be though.

Just take one look at our beast, and do you really want it called a "station wagon"?

I will pay the extra to have it registered as it is, a REAL TRUCK!!
