What is a"George Thorogood"? ?

I just rather our CURRENT Av design I guess!!! ;) :)

Where can I get one other than the magazine? Was there an artcle about this or was it just an artist getting his picture in a magazine?

Man that rocks! Now I want to get an old chevy body
and start metal fabbing!! :)

Wheels are a little to low for my taste, but they do
fit the style of the front.

I love posts like this I breeze thru Truckin so fast..

:) Aetatis.

http://fehrarules.com/

It was an article on the the artist, Ed White, and all his work. I wouldn't mind having him do a drawing for me.

I love it...
I just emailed Ed, the artist on where I can get one of these prints.
I will let y'all know if he replies.

Dammit.

I have been toying with the idea of Av'ing my '48. Need a 1-ton chassis to do it, or extend mine. The actual construction of the Av portion would be less effort than the actual extending of the body itself.

Another good idea stolen.

what year do you think this is spposed to be?

Les

Early-mid 60's from that drawing. Can't be 100% sure without the front end, but that of course wouldn't be exactly stock either ;)

I have been E-mailing Eddy (the artist) about his prints. I have sent him the link to this page so he could check it out also.
He sells his prints for $20 each. They are 11X17.
He also has a pic of a slammed Green AVthat he painted and was featured in Street Truck Nov '01

I am going to purchase both of his prints. I told him he may get a rush on these prints since I am posting this info to a bunch of Avalanche Freaks ;D

If you would like to purchase one of his prints, his Email address is
Ed White [edwhite@fehrarules.com] He will reply. And his phone # is
281-455-2883 He lives in Texas.
He has given me permission to list his number and E-mail.

Come on folks, let's support a man who actually knows a nice vehicle when he sees one, Just like all of us.

I wonder if he drives and AV himself >:D
Maybe Y'all in Texas can invite him to your next GTG, If so, tell him I said "Hi" (y)
