Two Audio Questions

1) Are 7" and 6 1/2" speakers compatable? Will the 7" fit in the 6 1/2" mounts?

2) Anyone know where I can find detailed self help instructions to install amp and speakers? I'm talking the kind that will help an audio moron like me.

What exactly do you not know how to do with the amp install? Are you using an aftermarket hu with RCA preouts, or speaker level inputs on the amp? Are you going to run all new wires from the amp to the doors or just pick up the pre-existing wires allredy run into the door?
