Uni ball tie rod ends

I put it a 3? lift kit on my 07 last year, basically maxing out the geometry of my control arms. My first lift kit ever and i was going the cheapest route not realizing any possible repercussions. So now after a years worth of daily driving, my steering has a pronounced creaking sound when turning hard either direction. Local Meineke said my tie rod ends need replacing and the rubber boots are split open from having the lift kit overextend the control arms.
Any of this sound familiar to you and what should i do when replacing the tie rod ends. A mechanic suggested getting uniball tie rod ends which would solve my angle of deflection problem. Are these greasible tie rods? Or is that not necessary these days. Any advice from lifted Avy owners would be greatly appreciated!

This is typical when installing a 2"-3" lift kit. It usually has Keys and shocks and raises the front end but does not keep the steering components at their original angels and they quickly ware out.. Is this what kind of kit that was installed?

The uniball type may help but you might just keep throwing money at it..

I always try to let people know when they ask about this type because down the road they have problems and end up going with a engineered full lift kit that maintain the correct angles on the axles and steering components.. If your AV is FWD, check your axles if they are not close to being straight out from the diff they may next on the replacement list..
