I have a Unity spotlight and door mount to put onto my Avalanche. Has anyone ever tried this before? It dosn't look too difficult ??? Any tips???

Well, now that the warm weather is here, I'm gonna give it a shot! Any final tips? You'd think someone must have done this before.

I've always wanted to do this but chickened out. IMO the Avalanche should have offered these as an option when new. Here's a link I had saved that offers some instructions for mounting. Good luck and please post pics.

Finally got around to doing it when my wife couldn't find me something else to do! Everything went together really well. The only thing is to make sure you use a 1/2" drive drill because a smaller one won't cut it. I thought it would be much harder than it was! Just take your time, follow the directions, and you'll be done in about an hour! (y)

I would love to see those pictures, did you check out the picture posting thread.  Otherwise you can just upload the file from your desktop with the Additional Options section located at the bottom of the page between the dialog box and post buttons.

maybe a windshield visor... or a sunroof wind deflector..... or I was wondering about adding more lights to my top luggage bar???.... You can never have enough light when the zombies come!!!

I got mine from Galls, Inc. At the time, it was $109; plus the cost of the mounting kit. Yeah, I thought about putting one on the other side too; but  want to work on other projects first. I still have some work to do on my 88 9C1 and I want to put better tires on my Ave.
 
Not sure you will get a reply from person who posted photos, last seen on this site July 10, 2018..... It looks like a WAAG brush guard though, not sure they still make one to fit an AV .
