unused plug in dash

On the passenger side of the dash, nest to the door when I remove the access panel there is a series of plugs  the top one is empty the black one does anyone know what this is used for.

I tried to post an image but cant figure it out

yes there are 4 plugs the top one that is black is empty there are 8 pins in it (C206 8 pin), and was just wondering what it would be used for.

So I have been reading threw the forum and have determined that the plug is for the radio, looking at my build sheet code uq3 is 8 speaker system,I can find only 6 speakers in my truck

I think it's used if you had those power folding heated mirrors option DL3

Thanks for the info, I do have a set of heated w/turn signals sitting on the floor to install, for some reason my wife loves that option so I bought them to install, this is a hole lot better then crawling under the dash to wire them.  (y) :cool:

I bought a set for my old 98 Durango, installed them according to the instructions, they did work with out any issues, in tell I put my foot on the brakes and they lit up, they worked no problems just shocked me that they lit up when the brake was pressed  :laugh:
