It's a long way anywhere when driving a front wheel drive Avalanche  :p Come to think of it, for all the electonics on the Av, I don't even know for sure if that works or not  ??? ??? Anyone have the answer?? Bueller? Bueller?

You could drive your AV as front wheel drive if its a 4x4... I've done it. :E:  Oh yea, torque steer like a SOB!

But not towing a trailer.  I wouldn't want to try that, or do you mean to the repair shop?

Repair shop hon. Trying to pull an 8000lb trailer with just the front .... probably snap an axle real quick.

I need a person willing to handle this event for me, due to work i will not be able to make it to the GTG until Late Friday (if at all)...

If you are willing I will coordinate everything with you.

Are we still good for this? ???
Sorry been really busy between Work (company went through a Buy out)
and home AV is up in CT betting the Drive line Over Halled. >:D

Thanks really been looking forward to this.

Yep unless I post its off for some reason, its on!  (y)u

I was wondering that too since you asked someone to coordinate it since you were going to be late.  I was actually talking about that last night.

Nope its all covered, I should get there Thur night... I will have more details for the Dyno posted up shortly.

This may have been asked before, but just for my clarification:  The winners are going to be based on Horespower or Torque?  I'm kinda in a different class when you think of it in those terms.

BTW, I am on my third, yes third, 4L80E tranny.  Should be out of the shop tomorrow. :E:

Yes, for Dyno comps you usualy go by the combined HP/TQ numbers. That is how you can run vehicles with difirent size/types of motors/setups against each other. It also means that it does NOT matter if you make your power low or high in the RPM range, its just about how much you make. Period.

As for the tranny, you need to go to the guys who built my old 4L80e and have them build one for you.  (y)

So are you adding the HP and TQ together to get one number?

Sorry guys, due to circumstances, I won't be able to make the GTG.  :(

I hope you all have a great time.  I'll be checking in for pics and updates from time to time.
