upgrade turn signal assembly on WBH 2003...

The 2003's did not come with the touch turn signal for a 1, 2, 3 lane change blink. Has anyone replaced the assembly to a newer year that does this? I did a search but no luck. Thanks.

The lane change "touch" for 3 blinks of the signal is a feature on my Buick Envision, and every time I get the Avalanche I forget that I don't have that feature, so I feel your pain.

I am going to go on a limb and assume that the feature is built into one of the on board computer systems (BCM (Body Control Module) is my guess). So no way to add the feature.

Could be...I purchased this avey new and have only driven it 23,000 miles in 16 years. It ha always been annoying but I'm driving it more now and it's a pain to remember. Maybe i will call chevy parts.
