Was just thinking here and was wondering who would be interested in a Niagara Falls combination Buffalo GTG in the Spring ??? A chance to hook up with some Avers for the states. Any thoughts?

Yak, I didn't have a time frame in mind. I know it's close to a sure deal that everyone is heading to Huntsville again in August 04. July might put the GTG's to close. Does that matter???Not to me, but it might to others. It's a ways away so we'll just follow this thread and see where it leads. I'm sure people will bend to your needs if you plan on attending. You dont have a criminal record do you Yak?? I/we would hate to leave you at the border. LOL

Spring GTG in Niagara Falls sounds GREAT!!!!! I know my better half is a YES for Niagara Falls..... Cat will go to, but we'll have to stop at the Skylon Tower. 3 years old and she insists that we go up the Skylon Tower... Excellent view of the falls from there.....
We know of an excellent hotel nearby, which has Great accommodations for the kids.....
Oh yeh!!! Only 1 place to have breakfest....

Niagara Falls is also really nice in the Winter!!!!!
( use to check it out, when I was on Midnights... do a quick run down late at night and park inches away from the falls, nobody around!!!! 2am-3am....
I have booked all of Christmas off!!!!!! Couldn't believe that my colleagues hadn't scheduled this off yet.. My boss works under first come first serve.... So I'm off from Dec 20th to Jan 4th... ;D ;D
I am taking off for 2 weeks on the 16th of Sept to Vancouver ( short trip to Tofino, then Duncan, before hitting Victoria, Alaskan Cruise and a few nights in Vancouver)...
But it turns out, I still have 6 more days to schedule.... Thinking Mid Nov or early Dec to head down to Lake Placid..... Maybe a little snow on the hills to see how the AV handles the snow >:D

Hey Biker maybe we can get a caravan going from hooters and meet up with some others along the way lets get that started!!! Be sweet to see a line of AVs from the border to Jersey ;D hehe just kidding but I would be willing to caravan up with anyone in the area.

Lets see Spring in Ontario is between Mar 21st to June 21st... Is it different in Labrador, because your suggesting August.... Thats like Summer time

I think Aug is setup for Huntsville....... Just make sure you've modified your AV for the around the raft competition.....
Spring is for Niagara....... Should only take 1 week of your holidays.....

I might make the trip to Niagra Falls in the Spring, not August Yakmar :rolleyes: Count me in, I haven't been up there since before moving to TN which was about 6 years ago.
Is the exchange rate still favorable?

Count me in AV42Medics. I have a few connections in the tourism industry in the Niagara area so I may be able to help with any planning. Maid of the Mist, scenic tunnels, whirlpool jet boat,( the Flying Saucer), lots to do. Niagara is a great area for a gtg, I probably see one a week. Pt Cruisers have a national gtg here and get about 500 members from North America every year, so lets join in on the fun!
 
I have lived in Buffalo all my life and have never been on the Maid of the Mist or in The Cave of the Winds.

It just may be time...

I agree that there shold be a convoy of AV's from the States...I would love to see customs faces :eek: :rolleyes: when 20 to 30... no make that 25 to 50... no make that 50 to 100... Oh OK a hack of alot of AV's lining up to cross the border in only one single file line.

Niagara Falls cruise in August. This has the makings of a very large cruise. Lets say somewhere around the first week of August or the last week of July. Iam up to helping plan and get it off the ground.

Curise to the Falls.
Curise to the Casino. Money time.
Curise and tour to the power plants.
Curise across the border and back, Customs will get po'ed.

Sounds like fun, I will help.

The first thing we need to do is set a month, and August is not Spring GTG :rolleyes: April, May or early June would be an approx. Spring time frame.
After we set the month, we need to settle in on a time frame.
 
Yes, by spring I meant April til June, a date can be planned later. I just wanted to see if there was going to be any interest from any of the NY chapters. A date can be firmed up after the New Year. We'll just see where this thread leads.

Comin at ya from Rhode Island here!

This definitely has the makings of a great GTG. (y) With Niagara's location, this could draw folks from Canada, the Midwest, mid Atlantic and the northeast, as well as those folks that just love to drive across the country for GTGs. :cool: If this is held in the spring, I am definitely interested. ;D

TNAV03, I'll be seeing ya at the White Mtns. GTG in October. I think we should get the seed planted and see if we can drum up some interest among the NE chapter. :0:

I can't beleive that I just saw this for the first time today. :2:

It seems that I have been out of town more than I have been home for the last three weeks. I am soooooo far behind on things around here. :6:

Seeing as I'm only about 20 minutes from the falls, I will be there, if at all possible. Count me in. (y)
