Vanity License Plates

I just order a personalized license plate for my AV -
4ABUCK
The other choices we came up with were -
MIDGATE, SWITCH, 2002 AV, CHEVYAV

Does anyone else have vanity plates? What are they or what else can you come up with?

I have a plate on reserve, since I don't have my AV yet. and of course, it says SPORK

it might take people time to figure out why. the AV is a SUV/truck, and the spork is a sp00n/fork. both multi purpose items.

I'm actually waiting for a special interest plate that is yet to debut here in NJ which salutes officers who where killed in the line of duty....

I remember reading the article many months ago, but nothing yet.....

My personalized plate is "NOT A 7" - which is a reference to my other car (an RX-7).

I belong to a very active Mazda sports car club (we take our cars on road courses like Watkins Glen) - this is a way to keep me from getting too much crap about owning a big truck.

Awesome, a 3rd generation RX-7.... I have an '88 RX-7 GXL, heavily modified. I have been wanting a '93 Canary yellow R2 RX-7... I think the '88 can fit in the back of an AV ;D

I decided that this topic would get more responses over here in the Chit Chat area, so I moved it over here. :)

My Bug's name is Otto, so his vanity plates are OTTOBON
They used to be WHY2KAY, as in Y2K Bug, but once the year 2000 was over, I figured the joke was over and changed them. :)

Am I the only one with Green Bay Packer plates on this site? ;D

Okay, Okay...I know everyone has a favorite team.....but I have stock in mine (not worth a cent!) and chose to personalize with my stock #. The std. plates end in a "G", mine starts with one.

PS I thought about "AVLNCHE" but the truck doesn't need extra attention ;D

Those yellow R1s are hard to find (the R2 replaced the R1 in 1994 - when there was no yellow color offered) - but are really sweet looking. ?When I got the '7, I was looking for over a year for a yellow R1 - and ended up with a red R2. ?The '7 is now colored green from an incident with a tire wall a couple years ago.

FWIW, IIRC the package was changed to "R2" because some motorcycle company had dibs on "R1"...

The Green Machine is putting out about 340 RWHP, and weighs in at about 2800 lbs - not bad for a rice burner. ?:)

What have you done to your GXL?

I have aftermarket twin turbos on it. dynoed at 305 at the wheels. I have a diamond plate floor in it, with roll cage, momo seats and racing harness. I also have a police strobe light kit on it. the exterior is bone stock.

As you can see, I was getting ready to actual race it, then I got married.. racing days were over before they began.

BTW, I love the green... nice color... I forgot about the R1 and R2 thing... But, I will hold out for an original yellow. got to have it. ;D

I'd get 'em if I could PACKFAN, but they're not available in Colorado (lousy Colorado DMV). ;) I drove the Av back to WI over Christmas.

Everyone wants to see the truck "transform" from a SUV to a full-sized pickup.

One of my childhood favorite tv shows/toys were those robots which could transform from vehicles to robots.
You might remember them known as "Transformers".

There were two sides, the bad guys were called "Deceptacons" the good guys (and a great vanity plate!) were called "Autobots".

If I were to get a vanity plate, it would be "AUTOBOT".

Sorry, I am a big kid.

I'm not sold on getting vanity plates for it yet, but if I really get the itch for it it will probably be one of:

MAD MAX
MJILNIR
ROOSTER
THUNDER

...or something else I haven't thought of yet.
