While driving along... once I go over 40-45 MPH and release the gas to cruise.... once I put my foot back on the gas slowly my front end vibrates and I can even feel it through the gas pedal.
Help?
Chevy of course twice said they couldn't duplicate the noise. Then I took one of the guys for a ride and shwoed him and he said it is normal! Go figure.

That is the the response a poor dealership will offer - I hope you have other dealers in your area, because this does not sound normal.

Go see another dealer and don't give anymore business to this dealer.

I would definitely go find another dealer and let them check it out. Heck, go to a Cadilac dealer. They can check it out as well. No vibration is normal. If that were the case, all AV's would vibrate, and we would all be in line to give our AV's back. Nothing worse than a dealership that won't take care of their customers. I am one of the lucky ones with my dealership, I guess!!

As you can feel it through the gas pedal I'm wondering if your problem is an out of balance drive shaft or a flat spot on a U joint. ?Out of balance and out of round tires can cause vibrations but are normally felt through the steering wheel or the floor board.

If it is easy to duplicate the problem take the service manager out on a test drive so he can experience it and see if he thinks its normal.

Best of luck.

Mine goes in tomorrow for the same problem. Its really annoying. I'll let you know if (when) I get it Fixed.

:D: If you find out what it is, let me know cause I have the same problem. Mine just appeared after about 3000 miles. I noticed it while on the highway. It start at about 40 MPH and is pronunced for there to about 60, then it fades. Its coming from the front left wheel well and I can feel the vibration through the floor board, and maybe just barely throught the steering wheel. It drive me nuts! I had the whells balanced ater taking in in to the dealer for my first service. He said I would need to bring it back for them to investigate. Well I need to drive the thing ya know!

If ya find out. please let me know!

Thanks,

MP
