I'm without a RC/AV today.

I've seen RC/AV's in action on pavement at Charleston GTG and ECRM.

Hey Guys......corvettejoe (CJ) and his AV race team (Renee) will take care of your "RC Racing Fun" on Tybee Island and other choice GTG locations.

I want each of you RC AVers to tell me what "FIRST PRIZE" will be.

If Brian is as good at RC racing as he was at ECRM Cart racing--My $$$ is on Brian. We'll see Who is Who on Tybee Beach.

OK, just ordered a Traxxas T-MAXX for the cruise and an AVALANCHE boddy for it. Should have it by middle of next week. Optted not to get the gas powered due to all the tunning, break in time, and "gas related" dangers......went with the (2) 7.2 battery version instead.

I think I just found a new hobby!!!

I'm not into RC's but I do know they have an indoor track in Pooler, which is about 15-20 minutes from Tybee. Just FYI...

When night falls and party is rocking....we can use the Tybee Pier (100' from OPBR) to ramp up a RC looser into the Atlantic Ocean. Fireworks are not legal in Georgia so rockets must be purchased by a South Carolina AVer. >:D

Who can do the math?

From a local shop here. The car, battery packs, and charger are all there......I am just waiting on the AV body. This thing is AMAZZING!!! I used to have a "grasshopper" back in 1988 and it was in its day top of the line.....this thing is WAAAAY better!!

OK, its in and it runs at least 35 mph!! I got a Traxxas E-maxx and am already modding her!! Avalanche body should be here by Thursday of this week, and then the painting starts. My front yard has less grass in it now since those big ole mud tires tore up the yard!! I think I found a new hobby!!

Look out Savannah......here comes the E-Maxx Avalanche!!!!

Everytime I take it out of the AV, I just turn it on and RACE it out the back for a 3 ft free fall!! And then its off to the races >:D >:D

You guys made me go out and buy one too.
Only I splurged and bought a micro-racer for $12.
Brought it home and put it all together only to find that there were 2 springs missing inside the battery compartment :8: :8: :E:
That's why I don't buy cars from China (y)

Now I have to take it back tomorrow and get another one.
