For my fellow club members who are getting screwed in the Warranty Gold bankruptcy proceedings please be aware that if you financed your warranty through WG, the WG payment receipt summary DOES NOT INCLUDE any down payment you made on the warranty contract. You will have to hunt down proof of down payment and include that in your claim.

I finally was able to locate a 10/02 bank statement which showed my $400 down payment to WG. All the paperwork is on it's way to the reorg. address along with a stamped/self addressed envelope so they can send me a time stamped receipt of the claim. And shame on the club officers for continuing to allow WG advertising on this site. The "new" safeguards they advertise smell just like the "old" safeguards they advertised.
I know I've already lost all of my money with the fine outstanding outfit known as Warranty Gold. Had a few moments, figured I'd see what was new. They can no longer operate as a service contract provider in Texas.

I had WG for my Grand Cherokee and after they screwed me I was forced 
to get rid of the GC and buy a AV. luckally I was able to dispute my charges with my CC company and all I'm out is the initial down paynent. I know I'll never see that again even though I have the reciept.

On what grounds did you successfully dispute this with your cc company? I used AMEX and so far I am in my 5th month of dispute and nothing yet. Actually, they rebilled my credit card after 6 weeks and I disputed again and tried to cancel card. Then I got their attention. I am trying to get back only 3 months of the 10 payments.
