Hi Folks, I'm, almost at the 36K mark :C:

I was wondering what I should look for when I take it to the dealer for the last time before the full warranty runs out.

Any help or suggestions would be great....

One thing would be to check your parking brake. They seem to wear pretty quick. Also make sure you don't have any water leaks. Mine is over 56K miles and is holding up pretty good

check the steering column - ensure it is lubed - there is a TSB and a lot of data on the site about this.

Make sure parking brake is adjusted - test the AV on a slight hill

you are getting to the point it would be good to have the rear, (front diff and Transfer case if 4x4) fluid changed.

At around 40K I had a flush of my oil and tranny done - man did it take a lot of junk out.

Have your brakes checked

Let them know the AV hasn't been cooling as well on hot days and have the AC checked to ensure there is 1.8 lbs in it.

You might not want to do all of the fluids at once - it is a big hit on the wallet

knock on wood alot....

I hjave had cars a bunch of times way out of warranty and the scariest part is from 36 K to 50K once you get to 50K nothing bothers you and you know it will not cost you much money....

I had a isuzu a long time ago that I drove for 10 years and had 120K on it.....only thing I had done was a head gasket.....total cost for repairs....was about 900 for the entire 120K nbot counting maintenance...so good luck and knock ojn wood and cross them fingers and toes

Don't think you are going to get you emergency brake fixed on warranty. This is considered a normal wear item like your wheel brakes, tires and belts. I had the shoes replaced on my e-brakes and it was not cheap. Service manager said I must have rode around with my e-brake on that's why they wore out early......... B.S. :7:

I had mine replace at about 32K miles. I have never drove my av with the e brake on. My dealer told me they had problems with the design.
