They came with the truck. I'm actually thinking of stripping it down and cleaning up the truck. I just painted the bow tie black and took all the pinstriping and Z71 stickers off. Got new Z71 stickers on the way. The rocker panels need to come off cuz i need to get the bottom of the truck cleaned up. the mud flaps are wearing away the paint. You guys have any problems with the mudflaps rubbing over time and taking a toll on your paint?

The price for the rocker panel kit is spendy from what i have seen. Around $350! I don't know if those prices have dropped at all lately though.

Mudflaps, indeed. I have been thinking about putting mudflaps on my Av.

Other than the chrome panels, our trucks are almost identical. Love the SBM.

The wood interior really warms it up. Contemplating on a brushed steel look in mine or a marbelized black and beige color. Any suggestions? I  MY SBM! Wouldn't have any other color...

I don't ever see any other SBM on the road and when I do I can't resist staring it down. Well I guess that's all Avs....  Definitely need to get more mods put into the truck!

I do like the wood grain but i would really like to get a black/dark blue carbon dash kit to suit the truck.

the wood grain is nice. i dont think there is  an interior color mod that would fit my taste or exterior color. i dig the black.

I have yet to see another SBM truck out there. It is a beautiful color for a truck.

I totally agree.  If i had bought a truck from the factory, probably would go white, silver or grey.  I did however buy a dark blue truck which i love(incl. the color).  The bad part is you can see the pinstriping of every tree i have ever passed while offroad.

Looks spectacular clean, but dirty overnight.

See lots of 'em here in TX.  (y)

Well, I just did my first mods.  I put in a K&N CAI/FIPK and put in some ambers while I was in there.

I have to say, the CAI thing had me worried at first.  While I think of myself as being fairly handy, it's always a bit worrying when mistakes can get expensive!

I installed the BlueStar, OnStar replacement bluetooth box last year.  It works pretty well, but does require a bit of tinkering.

I'm now looking for some new mods to put on my WBH.  What's a good next step?

Jared

I too have the K&N CAI, after that i did a dual electric fan conversion.  I wasnt too pleased with the performance of the clutch driven fan and the amount of space it used up.  I used FF Dynamic's fan kit, about 300 bucks after all said and done and big improvement on stock.  I did not need to upgrade my alternator but have heard of people with more 'doo dads' in their truck need to get a high output alt. to support the additional load of the fans.

Simple mod is to relocate the trailer hitch wiring plug into the bumper, as opposed to dangling below it.  Not sure if this really counts as a 'mod' but getting some Refinish Restorer on the plastic parts makes her look beautiful.

Post back if you think of any other because i too am looking for more mods.

Where did you pick up the FF Dynamic fans?  I see them online direct for $275 + shipping(?) but was wondering if there was a local distributor.  I'm in the lower mainland.

Thanks,

Jared

Your in the lower mainland!!! Im in Port Coquitlam!

I am not aware of any local distributors however when i inquired shipping costs they said they would split the price with me because there was a no shipping charge deal for US residents.  They answered my questions about install the same day i asked them.  I was/am impressed about everything to do with these fans.
