WBH Modders... UNITE!

Hello fellow WBH'ers. I've had mine since October and havent modded yet ???
I was just wondering if anyone has changed out our stock WBH front bumper??? I hate the way a license plate tag just kinda stick onto it and love the way the Cladded one's are integrated...anyone know of an aftermarket bumper that looks good on WBH and has a spot for an integrated front plate??? Size is an issue as Cladded wouldnt fir into the garage and that's why we went for the WBH. Have to garage our baby ;)
Thanks for the info!

I for one can say I owned a with 2003 and now a WBH
I love them both and wish I could afford both
I went for WBH partly cause my Wife likes it But mainly I do
I did not Know till recently that they were that different
I love this club and an AV is an Av
We in Hawaii (Oahu) are trying to get our club started and I see all this BS..
Get back to the facts

Here is a fairly new pic of mine, except now I have pewter door handles, a red neon U/B kit, and magnaflow stainless cat back. I am also looking into some new door trim. I would love to get some the same style, but pewter instead of black. Plus painted mirror caps, too. These things are addicting. Mikesav.

:B:The only thing I dislike about my WBH is that it looks like a Silverado from the front. You don't know you're looking at an Av until you are beside or behind it. My wife hates the idea, but I have to buy an Av windshield decal for all the world to see as I approach!! :B:

I've had my '04 Silver Birch WBH for three weeks, now. When it was delivered, it was nekkid. I took it back a week later for the dealer to install the wheel flares and body moulding. I like it much better with the trim, as there was just too much same-colored metal for my tastes. I wanted a cladded version, but there were no Av's with the features I wanted withing a 500 mile radius (according to the dealer). I certainly couldn't find one on my own.

But I really do love the way it looks.

does anyone know how to remove the cladding under the front bumper where the foglights are stationed???

tks..lance

that valance is held on by push pins... not sure on the Av owners manual. but the silverado manual describes how to remove it for more clearence off-road....

I removed my lower valance and top valance to put my SS front fascia on. The lower, as grey avalanche stated, is held by pushpins. Take a flathead screwdriver, stick it in between the pin and the washer to pop the pin out. Next, put the screwdriver between the washer and valance and pry the washer out. This technique should make the push pin pop right out. I think there was about 10 to 12 pushpins. The hardest one was the pushpins in frontof the left and right fog lights. I hope this helps. Let me know if you want to take off the top valance.

Just got my new 04 Victory Red WBH have flares and side moldings , going to get some ambers and check out the leds for the sails. Has anyone installed the side vent inserts, How are they held in and where can they be bought from. Thanks STEVE D ;D

Thank you!!! I was able to get it off... Appreciate the info

i like the idea as well in terms of a forum for the non cladded. question though, i have a wbh with wheel moulding wait i think i read that i am scantilly clad. oh well i really like both avs i got mine 2 weeks ago and still have a grin :B:. the fact that both have the mid gate makes us family. my main reason for not getting the cladded was maintenence. i had a heck of a time with my scantilly clad av. i love the versatility both cladded and uncladded offer. the one thing that unites us is the love for the idea that we are neither truck nor sport ute. i own a 03 yukon and it offers nothing the av does. by the way i have a 04 silver birch z66. i added the stainless nerf bars, ambers, and i get my fm50 delta friday. next to add is the back up camera.

(y)Just finished mod #3 high beams with low beams on. Used a Painless wiring kit # 30822 . Came complet with relay mounting and harness and clips. The system is also protected by a fuse which is wired in with a fuse holder. Took about 20 minutes to complete. works great. :B:

I just crossed over and I am feeling a bit guilty. After owning two cladded Avs I have just purchased a nekkid one. My wife says it looks more like a vehicle someone my age should be driving. I don't know how to take that. Anyway I just wanted to see if there has been any luck adding the Suburban Z71 ground effects and assist steps package to the WBH's. Another one would be the Denali XL body cladding. Any Ideas??
