On my way home from the office yesterday, I saw a Birch silver metallic WBH with Full Time Amber DRL's. It was about 4:30 in the afternoon. I flashed this person but I don't believe they saw me. I have not seen this vehicle at any of our GTG's. Who are you? :D

It's pretty rare to see ambers around Austin. (y)

When are you gonna meet up with this sometime? We would love to hang out with you. I am about to go on a taggin frenzy in Austin so that we an get a member pile built up.

No wasn't me. I NEVER, ok hardly ever, go to South Austin. Back and forth on 183 between 620 and 290 is about it. And of course Lakeline Mall. :cautious:
 
Yo, butch. I think it was actually me that you saw...lol. (y) I work over there at AMD. We had a group outing that day and I was just swinging by work to drop off some of the co-workers ridin' with me. Funny and glad you tagged me. I just put my ambers on this past weekend and was wondering early this week whether anyone would notice me? ;D Let me know if you end up deciding to put a Austinite GTG. I'd probably join in on that. Later.... :D

Good to meet ya hokee! You are in luck! The San Antonio and Austin chapters are a tight group. Tomorrow (Friday), the Austin members that are avaialble cruise down to SA for a GTG. Larry (TRIBALAV) is the coordinator for the Austin area. He is also the mastermind behind most of the decals the members are sporting. We are going to start meeting on Saturdays at our own GTG. Not sure where you live but some of the members are heading over there this Saturday. It is at the "Y" at 290 and 71 in the Albertsons parking lot. It is a simple event where several car owners show off their stuff. (Similar to the event that goes on in San Antonio on Friday nights) Unfortuntely, this Saturday will not work for me but other arte going.

Just a recommendation, you should add the Texas Thread to your bookmarks. That way you will see everything that is getting plannedin our area. We would love to see you attend a GTG. HEck, you are right down the street from me and maybe we could do lunch sometime!

Give me a PM if you need more info. It is great to know who was driving that sharp WBH I saw.....Nice rims by the way!

One other note, several members are cruising to Corpus Christi for an overnight GTG with the members of the Gulf Coast. IF your open, you could cruise down their with us? This will take place the weekend of May 1st.

Jen noticed that the owner of the building next to hers has a brand new AV, with paper plates still. I just printed off some flyers and I guess she will get the first official tag! Gotta love it! :B:

Hey guys! Thanks for the invites. :love: I will eventually make it out to some of these GTGs, but I am swamped with other engagements for the next couple weeks. :-[ I will definitely stay in the loop for upcoming GTGs. At the least, I should be able to make it out to the "Y" one of these Saturdays. (y) I actually live very close to that Albertson's. I have driven my other car by there sometimes (bone stock Black '98 Toyota Supra TT) ;D Hope to see some of you guys out there soon. Til then, keep up the modding, cuz lord knows I am....lol :2:

Hey Cicso

Now that you mention it I ordered the Lites and go only part of them. Anyway the thread diameter was larger than the standard 1/4 in :6: and the LED are set to deep to work very well. :6:
Did you hand off the unused set of the FF LEDs I gave you? If not give them to Larry to bring on Sat.
I guess I'll have to go with the raised bolts anyway.

I have done alot of research on the Squenchel lights for the Sail Panels and it is a definetly a go will have to what on the final production model to be release but the producer is going to support up to 10 LEDs they are testing It now. I'm going to be the first for this one.

I'm on call and can't Leave the Austin area for the next two weeks so I guess the Corpus trip is a no go for me :6:

Tribal still has the FF lights at his place, we didn't take them....Airmax already had his lights...Ask Tribal to take them to you Sat at the "Y" Keep me posted on your project (y)
 
I will bring them with me handmade.

hokee- You never know but I might know you from AMD I was laid-off from there two years ago hope to see you Saturday night 5:30pm rain or shine.
