Wednesday Night Car Shows

MAB and folks, Happy New Year!! Say, I know it's early but want to get some discussion going on a LARGE group of us getting together and setting up over south of the Cinema Center off 84th with the hot rods and classics once the weather breaks. I noticed last time I went in August there were a couple of late-model Dodge and Ford pickups parked here and there amidst the good cars. Our trucks would make a great showing and as a group would blow any others out of the water. Let me know what you think. My truck isn't very customized, it's tough to improve on perfection, but I'll try to do something more with it if we decide to move forward with this idea. I'll even wax it. Maybe we can get your friend from KC to come up as well.

GMJones, do you know anymore details on this show n' shine? It would be fun to do as a group once weather breaks.

I've seen what appears to be a regular show n' shine on Thursday nights in the parking lot of Skirts Bar, which is located at about 78th & Military Aves in NW Omaha. I've just seen it driving by, don't know if it is limited to older iron or what. I should ask, there's a guy I know who had a mint '51 Crown Vic that he would occasionally take up there.

MAB the one GM is talking about is called "Rush St.". Every Wed. from 5:30pm on. It's in the Rush St. bar parking lot. You have all types of classics, hotrods, newrods, ricers, etc. Not to bad of a place to hang out, but it gets pretty busy.

Yeah, that's not too bad of a show. Sorta like the old Paradise Wed nights. I would be up for something like that...
