Will [link=http://www.weiand.com/HiOctn/ProdLine/Products/AMS/AMSM/300-111P.html] THIS [/link] purdy piece of hardware fit our LS1 based engines?

Hmmm,

I guess that would depend on the intake differences between our 327 and the 350 that was made to go on. I would assume the heads are different between my 2000 TA and my 2002 AV and that would be the only real reason i could think of that would make that not fit our AVs.

I guess a call Weiland would be the only way to truly answer your question.

I'll try to bug them later today.

I wonder if there is a place where I can look up part numbers of the stock intakes to compare them.

I heard the LS1 intakes are composite.

Ours are composite.

???

:)

I haven't paid much attention to the intake on the AV but the one on my 2000TA is definitely a composite. Looks like black Plastic.

Would be interesting to find out... ???

I can tell you for certain that it won't be a simple bolt on. All the vacuum fittings and sensors will have to be relocated. I don't see any ports in the places the 5.3L has vacuum ports.

Hmmm... :cautious: That's not cool.

Maybe it's set up with the bare minimum needed, and we're expected to drill and tap any needed holes?

I still have yet to bug Holley... sorry guys.
